I'm tired of people assuming that I put out for anyone who asks just because I'm bisexual, or that I want to get in bed with everyone I see. And in my opinion, some of the bisexual pride stamps here on dA (though funny and effective) perpetuate this stereotype.
So I figured I'd clarify. I'm bisexual. I find members of both sexes attracive (holy fuck, "sexes" is a palindrome). I'm open to the idea of my "soulmate" or lifemate being a man or a woman. That being said, I DO HAVE FUCKING STANDARDS PEOPLE! There are particular traits physically, mentally, and emotionally that I find attractive, and others that I do not. I will not have sex with anyone who asks just because I'm open to both genders. I do not want to get in bed with everybody and everybody's brother and everybody's sister. I don't even care about the vast and nearly infinate sexual possibilities that being bisexual gives me. I want to have sex with someone that I care about, someone that I know cares about me, because to me sex is a special thing and an intense form of affection (like a super-duper-uber-amazing-hardo-huge-mondo hug). it's also funny how many homophobes think that a gay guy's going to be totally attracted to their 5'6 300lb toothless bald ass. funny thing is, a good chunk of my gay friends are far more shallow than most of my female friends in what they look for in a man.
I also hate how homophobes really only have a problem with gay men. Lesbians and bisexual girls are okay. But if a non-straight man gets involved, then it's blasphemy. Pfft.
